BOARDING TYPE

DESCRIPTIONS & RATES

No Hidden Fees!  Stall board includes ALL care, feed, hay, turnout, blanketing, de-wormer, fly control, amenities, and MORE!

  1. Stall board includes 2 feedings daily (grain and hay), stalls cleaned daily and as needed, and all day turnout.  During the Summer our horses are in their stalls during the day with fans and go out overnight. See additional details at left. $425 monthly
  2. Stall boarding with separate turnout is available with all the services above included for $525 monthly
  3. Colt Starting: young horses can be gently started with us for their first 90 days.  Feed, hay, and stall board is included. Includes one 1/2 hour lesson per month for owner.  Customized training for your goals. $575 monthly.

 PASTURE BOARDING LOCATION

"Galloway Farms - Dove Trails" at 1215 Elliott Road in McDonough, only 5 miles from our main location.  We offer a basic pasture boarding care that includes 1 grain feeding per day and hay as needed.  Horses will be checked over and cared for at least once daily, have rotating pasture care, and you will have 50+/- acres of beautiful riding area and wonderful lush grazing for your horse.  We also have a small arena on site. 

 

Additional services available upon request for an agreed upon fee (blanketing, fly care, ect). 

 

All Dove Trails boarders will have free open access to all amenities at our main location at Airline Road!

Choose the Boarding care that suits your needs.  We offer Stall (Full) Boarding at our main barn, and Pasture Boarding at our location on Elliott Rd.

Move in any time, we will prorate the monthly cost by days.

Stall board also includes at no additional charge:
  • high quality pelleted feed (Legends 11%)
  • hay and rotating pasture turnout
  • we feed any owner provided supplements (free of charge)
  • deworming care
  • fly-predator fly control program & fly spray as needed
  • blankets & sheets on/off as needed
  • fly masks & sheets on/off as needed
  • fresh water in stalls daily
  • salt/mineral blocks in pastures
  • daily stall cleaning
  • assistance in scheduling and holding for vet & farrier visits
Pasture Board includes:
  • 1 grain feeding daily (Legends 11% pelleted)
  • Winter hay as needed in rolls
  • Pasture salt blocks
  • Small arena, pasture footing
  • 3 barrels for riding practice
  • 50 acres in 3 pastures, rotating as needed
  • Free open access to arena, wash racks, etc. at main barn
Pasture Board OWNER Responsibilities (these services are not included, but  each item below can be provided/coordinated by Galloway for a reasonable fee):
  • Up to date Vet, Farrier, and normal medical care
  • Deworming, minimum every 6 months
  • Wound care as needed, Galloway will notify owner if care is required
  • Fly control care (spray, masks, etc)
  • Blanketing care
NOTE: Galloway Pasture boarding is a beautiful & natural setting, but does NOT include on-site restrooms, wash racks, or tack storage.
